Senior administrative and police personnel, including the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), City Superintendent of Police (CSP), Additional District Magistrate (ADM), City Magistrate, and Tehsildar, arrived on-site to manage the situation.
In the aftermath, law enforcement has filed charges against 47 individuals, which includes several Muslim leaders who participated in the protest. Among those, 22 individuals are explicitly named in the FIR, while 25 remain unidentified.
The accused face serious allegations under multiple sections of the IPC, including those pertaining to obstructing governmental operations, rioting, assaulting public officials, and intentionally obstructing roadways.
