Indore, April 8 (NationPress) Two individuals have been apprehended for allegedly engaging in unnatural sexual acts with cows in two distinct incidents within Madhya Pradesh.

An official revealed that the initial incident took place in Indore, which came to light after a video of the disgraceful act committed by the arrested individual circulated on social media, leading cow activists and various Hindu organizations to organize a protest on Tuesday.

Upon receiving the report, a police unit arrived at the scene and reviewed CCTV footage from nearby establishments, which validated the occurrence.

The police subsequently executed a search, resulting in the arrest of the suspect.

The suspect was identified as Vijay Ahirwar, a laborer employed at a factory in Indore.

“The accused has been charged under the ‘Pashu Krurta Adhiniyam’ (Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960). He faces allegations of inflicting, causing, or allowing unnecessary suffering to an animal, which constitutes a criminal offense under Indian law,” stated Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Rajesh Dandotia during a media briefing.

Another incident was reported in a village under the Afzalpur police jurisdiction in Mandsaur district, located approximately 200 km from Indore.

An official indicated that a video depicting this incident also emerged on social media, prompting police to act swiftly.

The suspect was identified as Dwarka Goswami (35), a resident of Mandsaur, according to Afzalpur police station in-charge, Samarth Sinam.

On Monday night, Goswami allegedly entered his uncle's cowshed and engaged in unnatural sexual acts with a cow.

A local resident witnessed this shameful act and recorded a video, which subsequently went viral on social media.

After the suspect's arrest, he was paraded by police on Tuesday.
