Punjab CM Emphasizes Youth Participation in Socio-Economic Advancement

Ludhiana, Dec 1 (NationPress) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated on Sunday that the state administration is actively working to involve the youth as crucial partners in the socio-economic development of the region.
Speaking to the attendees at the inter-zonal youth festival at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), he emphasized that these young individuals have inherent potential to excel in various domains, and their talents should be harnessed effectively.
He likened students and the youth to airplanes, asserting that the government will serve as a launch pad for them to soar towards success in life.
Mann firmly expressed his commitment to not rest until the students of Punjab realize their aspirations. He stated that all measures are being taken to provide wings to the youth's ideas and that no effort will be spared in this righteous endeavor.
The Chief Minister urged the youth to strive diligently to establish their unique identities and secure their places in society, adding that the sky's the limit for their ambitions. He encouraged them to remain grounded and continue working hard for further achievements.
Mann expressed his pride in being present at the event, highlighting that he himself is a product of such youth festivals. Reflecting on his college experiences, he noted that these festivals serve as a platform for the holistic development of young individuals.
The Chief Minister shared that participating in youth festivals significantly contributed to his growth as an artist and now as a politician.
Mann emphasized that the youth should leverage these opportunities for their overall growth and personal development.
In response to student requests, the Chief Minister, alongside his college friend and artist Karamjit Anmol, captivated the audience by reciting the poem “Maghda Rahin Ve Surja Kammian De Vehre” authored by renowned Punjabi poet Sant Ram Udaasi from the stage.
He shared that this revolutionary poem holds a special place in his heart, as it was frequently recited during college competitions, and he felt nostalgic revisiting those days.
Mann's two-minute recitation of the poem left the audience spellbound, marking a unique and captivating performance.
