Jaipur, Jan 14 (NationPress) In a historic move, the state-level Republic Day festivities will take place in Udaipur, marking a shift from the traditional venue of Jaipur. The 'At Home' reception is also set to occur in Udaipur, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

Deputy CM Diya Kumari will raise the national flag in Jaipur, while State Minister Jogaram Patel will hoist it in Jodhpur.

Various districts have been designated to ministers for the January 26 celebrations. Numerous state ministers have been assigned specific areas for the Republic Day flag-hoisting events, in accordance with the directives from the General Administration Department.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari will hoist the flag in Jaipur, while Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa will do so in Chief Minister Bhajan Lall Sharma's home district, Bharatpur. The assignments encompass both Deputy CMs and 21 ministers. In 24 districts, flags will be hoisted by ministers, the Deputy CM, and the Government Chief Whip. The remaining 16 districts will see the Collector and Divisional Commissioner overseeing the ceremonies.

State minister Kirodi Lal Meena will be in Sawai Madhopur, Gajendra Singh Khinvsar in Phalodi, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore in Dausa, Madan Dilawar in Kota, and Jogaram Patel in Jodhpur.

In similar roles, state minister Kanhaiyalal Chaudhary will be in Tonk, Suresh Singh Rawat in Ajmer, Avinash Gehlot in Beawar, Sumit Godara in Bikaner, Joraram Kumawat in Pali, Babulal Kharari in Dungarpur, and Hemant Bina in Pratapgarh. Other ministers will cover districts such as Alwar, Chittorgarh, Bundi, Sirohi, Nagaur, Bhilwara, Barmer, and Jalore.
