Udaipur to Host 76th State-Level Republic Day Celebrations as Announced by Rajasthan CM

Jaipur, Jan 7 (NationPress) Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced that the 76th Republic Day will be celebrated in a time-honored style filled with joy and enthusiasm this year as well. The grand celebrations are scheduled to take place in the city of lakes, Udaipur, on January 26.

During a high-level meeting focused on the preparations for the state-level Republic Day celebrations at the Chief Minister's residence on Tuesday, he emphasized that all officers must work in unison while fulfilling their designated duties for the successful execution of the event.

CM Sharma highlighted the importance of incorporating programs that reflect the spirit of nationalism into the Republic Day celebrations.

Moreover, he stressed the need for maximum public participation in the festivities. The Chief Minister instructed officials to adorn all significant buildings, tourist attractions, and government offices in both Jaipur and Udaipur with appealing decorations for the occasion.

He also directed that arrangements should be made for sending invitation letters to the guests attending the celebrations, along with their transportation, accommodation, and catering needs.

CM Sharma insisted that officials ensure timely completion of all preparations including seating for visitors, provision of drinking water, medical assistance, security measures, barricading, and traffic management at the venue.

The Chief Minister mentioned that tableaux showcasing the state's diversity should be presented during the Republic Day function.

Additionally, activities such as a camel show and horse riding exhibitions should also be included to attract the public and inspire a sense of patriotism among the youth.

Many senior officials participated in the meeting.
