New Delhi, May 21 (NationPress) Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha on Wednesday urged global leaders to unite against acts of terrorism, calling for a collective international front to confront Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
As a keynote speaker at the renowned Asian Leadership Conference in South Korea, Raghav strongly advocated for punitive measures against Pakistan for harboring terrorists, asserting, "Terrorism anywhere is a threat to peace everywhere."
Emphasizing India’s unwavering stance on terrorism, he noted that the government has shifted its approach to confronting terrorists, their infrastructure, and rogue states.
“India’s Operation Sindoor demonstrates our commitment to peace; however, if anyone disrupts our tranquility and harms our citizens, we will decisively target terrorism and its networks, regardless of their location,” he stated to an audience comprising diverse representatives.
The parliamentarian also posted a video clip from his address at the 'Davos of the East' Summit, which hosted over 47 nations, stating: “I conveyed India’s message emphatically - we are not a nation that merely endures attacks; we retaliate with cross-border strikes and precision. Operation Sindoor illustrated that India will strike decisively, eradicate terror, and dismantle safe havens. There has been a paradigm shift in our counter-terrorism strategy, reflecting our readiness to conduct cross-border operations against terrorist infrastructure.”
“Operation Sindoor transcended a mere military exercise; it signaled that India will not tolerate terrorism. We seek no conflict, yet we will steadfastly defend our populace,” he remarked, calling for the establishment of a Global Alliance against terror.
