The Congress leader took to X, stating: "Thank you for your wishes, Prime Minister @narendramodi ji."
Earlier on the same day, PM Modi had conveyed his heartfelt birthday greetings to Rahul Gandhi, who celebrated turning 55.
Born on June 19, 1970, at Delhi's Holy Family Hospital, Rahul Gandhi is the firstborn of the late former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sonia Gandhi.
In his message on X, the Prime Minister wrote: "Birthday greetings to the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Shri Rahul Gandhi. May he be blessed with a long and healthy life."
