The relentless downpour caused major roads, including arterial and ring roads, to become inundated, leading to sluggish vehicle movement throughout the city.
Areas such as Majestic, K.R. Market, Jayanagar, Chamarajpet, Banashankari, Shantinagar, Vijayanagar, Chandra Layout, Rajajinagar, R.T. Nagar, Hebbal, Malleshwaram, Koramangala, Kamakshipalya, Nagarbhavi, Peenya, and BTM Layout faced heavy rainfall overnight, with conditions persisting into Tuesday morning.
