Jaipur, July 19 (NationPress) In a significant step to enhance employment avenues for the youth, Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has revealed plans to recruit for over 26,000 government positions across diverse departments.
This initiative has been marked by the release of recruitment notifications, providing a vital employment opportunity for numerous candidates statewide.
A substantial portion of these roles will be in the education sector, with announcements for 3,225 professor positions across various disciplines and 6,500 senior teacher roles in the Secondary Education Department.
Furthermore, the Sanskrit Education Department will see 2,759 teacher positions at Level-1 and Level-2, along with 5,000 Level-1 teacher vacancies in the Elementary Education Department.
The Home Department is set to recruit 1,015 Sub-Inspectors, including 896 SI (AP), 4 SI (AP) Sahariya, 25 SI (AP) Scheduled Area, 26 SI (IB), and 64 Platoon Commander (SI) roles.
In addition, 84 Platoon Commander roles have been advertised in the Home Defense Department. The agriculture and animal husbandry sectors will also see recruitment announcements for 1,100 Agriculture Supervisor, 281 Assistant Engineer (Agriculture), and 1,100 Veterinary Officer positions.
The Forest Department will hire for 785 positions including Forester, Forest Guard, and Surveyor roles. Moreover, 2,163 posts have been notified in the Energy Department, alongside 1,050 miscellaneous roles in the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED). The Ayurveda Department will also recruit 1,535 contractual Ayush Officers.
During a gathering in Dadiya, Jaipur, at the ‘Cooperation and Employment Festival,’ over 8,000 youth received appointment letters in the presence of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. To date, the Rajasthan government has facilitated over 75,000 government jobs, with a recruitment calendar for more than 81,000 posts already set for 2025.
In another pivotal administrative move, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission's membership has been expanded from 7 to 10 to further optimize the recruitment process. This extensive recruitment drive underscores the state government’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, transparent governance, and effective public service delivery, officials stated.
