New Delhi/Jaipur, Jan 28 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday condemned the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), asserting that the party has misled the citizens of Delhi for the past decade.

"Even though Delhi is the nation’s capital, it remains ensnared in neglect, akin to 'darkness under the lamp'. The residents of Delhi are longing for change and will hold the AAP responsible in the forthcoming elections by casting their votes for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with a decisive majority," stated CM Sharma.

While addressing public rallies supporting BJP candidates Gajendra Daral and Kulwant Rana from the Mundka and Rithala Assembly constituencies, CM Sharma accused both the AAP and Congress of deceiving voters with false promises and propaganda during election times.

At the Mundka rally, Chief Minister Sharma claimed that the AAP, which gained power on an anti-corruption stance, has become engulfed in the very corruption it pledged to combat.

He brought attention to various alleged scams, including the Rs 1,300 crore classroom construction scandal, Rs 300 crore fake laboratory test scandal, and Rs 2,800 crore liquor scandal.

"Their so-called honest leaders, including the Chief Minister himself, are tangled in corruption cases. While professing simplicity, they have constructed glass palaces using public funds," remarked CM Sharma.

He criticized the AAP administration for the declining infrastructure in Delhi, highlighting severe pollution, damaged roads, insufficient sewer systems, traffic jams, and water scarcity.

CM Sharma challenged AAP's performance on delivering promises, asserting that most of their manifesto commitments are still unmet.

In contrast, he commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, showcasing the successful BJP administrations in neighboring states like Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, which have facilitated noticeable development.

He also noted that his 13-month-old government in Rajasthan has fulfilled over half of its manifesto promises.

During the rally at Rithala, Chief Minister Sharma observed the visible eagerness among Delhi residents for political change.

"The citizens of Delhi are prepared to liberate themselves from the deceit of AAP," he proclaimed, adding that the party's network of lies is now coming undone, with many of its leaders either incarcerated or on bail.

CM Sharma enumerated numerous alleged scams linked to AAP, including the Rs 28,400 crore Jal Board scam, Rs 5,400 crore ration distribution scam, Rs 4,500 crore DTC bus purchase scam, Rs 500 crore panic button scam, and Rs 100 crore Waqf Board property scam.

Emphasizing the BJP's vision for Delhi's progress, the Chief Minister reaffirmed BJP's determination to transform Delhi, outlining welfare initiatives for various segments of society.

Proposed benefits encompass life insurance of Rs 10 lakh and accident insurance of Rs 5 lakh for gig and textile workers, toolkit incentives for textile and construction workers, and loan schemes up to Rs 3 lakh for construction workers, among others.

Encouraging voters to back BJP candidate Kulwant Rana in Rithala, CM Sharma urged the public to support the lotus symbol on February 5, promising a transparent and diligent government.

The rallies saw a significant turnout, including BJP officials and enthusiastic supporters.
