New Delhi, Jan 27 (NationPress) Criticizing the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) administration for its inadequate drainage system and the resulting drowning incidents, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma actively participated in the BJP campaign for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, addressing gatherings in Krishna Nagar and Dwarka.
"The tragic drownings of children, the elderly, and young individuals during last monsoon are shocking for a city that is the nation's capital. Every city in Rajasthan boasts a superior drainage system compared to this," remarked CM Sharma.
He urged attendees to support BJP candidates Anil Goyal in Krishna Nagar and Pradyuman Rajput in Dwarka.
On Monday, as part of the BJP’s vigorous campaign for the elections scheduled on February 5, a total of 26 public meetings were held.
These gatherings featured speeches from prominent figures including Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Sukanto Majumdar, Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, Sanjeev Balyan, Prem Chand Bairwa, and others.
Puri spoke at public meetings supporting Harish Khurana in Moti Nagar and Umang Bajaj in Rajendra Nagar, stating that under Arvind Kejriwal's mismanagement, both the wealthy and the poor are grappling with a severe drinking water crisis.
He highlighted the necessity for residents to purchase water and noted the malfunctioning sewerage system in both Assembly constituencies.
"Last monsoon, severe waterlogging led to the drowning of four IAS aspirants. Kejriwal owes the people of Delhi an apology for this disarray," he asserted.
Union Minister of State Sukanto Majumdar addressed a meeting in support of Dushyant Gautam in Karol Bagh, expressing that migrants from other states currently feel embarrassed as the roads and facilities in their home states, governed by BJP, are superior to those in the capital.
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari spoke at various meetings in Badarpur, Tughlakabad, Sangam Vihar, and Chhatarpur, noting that the Purvanchal community in Delhi is increasingly frustrated with Kejriwal's administration.
BJP MP Ravi Kishan continued his campaigning in Delhi for the third day, stating during Purvanchal Samaj Samvad events in Wazirpur, Patparganj, Malviya Nagar, and Model Town that Kejriwal frequently disrespects the pride of Purvanchal residents by claiming they come with a ticket of Rs 500 and leave after receiving treatment worth Rs 5 lakh.
"The Purvanchal community in Delhi will not forgive Kejriwal for his insults and will ensure he is ousted from power on February 8," he declared.
Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa also engaged in extensive door-to-door campaigning along with a significant public meeting in support of Anil Gaur in Seelampur.
Kiran Chaudhary, former MP Locket Chatterjee, National Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia, and former Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan also participated in numerous public meetings across the national capital.
