Rajasthan CM Stresses the Importance of Budget Implementation and Development

Jaipur, Dec 30 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma underscored the significant responsibility of MLAs in fulfilling the vision of a Developed India, Developed Rajasthan in a meeting with MLAs from Ajmer and Bikaner regions.

He reaffirmed the government's determination to implement budgetary announcements effectively to promote public welfare and development.

The Chief Minister reiterated the state’s commitment to achieving the goal of a developed Rajasthan by 2047 through the timely and efficient execution of these initiatives.

During the meeting at his residence on Monday, CM Sharma called on the MLAs to engage in regular consultations with district administrations to track the progress of budgetary projects.

He assured them of sufficient resources and emphasized the need to align development efforts with the aspirations of the populace.

CM Sharma reiterated the government’s focus on Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay's principle of Antyodaya, aiming to uplift the most disadvantaged members of society.

He encouraged MLAs to connect with their constituents to ensure that youth, women, farmers, and workers benefit from welfare schemes.

Reflecting on the successes of the past year, CM Sharma discussed key initiatives such as the revised PKC-ERCP, the Yamuna Water Agreement, job creation for the youth, and the successful Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit.

He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for transformative changes in the nation since 2014 and urged MLAs to prioritize essential services like electricity and water in their regions.

The Chief Minister announced the establishment of Atal Gyan Kendras in every Gram Panchayat to commemorate the birth centenary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

These centers will feature libraries and e-libraries while providing public services through Atal Preraks.

Moreover, the Panch Gaurav program will highlight district-specific specialties, including crops, products, tourist attractions, and sports.

CM Sharma emphasized the government’s goal to achieve self-reliance in the energy sector by 2027, with significant MoUs signed during the Rising Rajasthan Summit.

He urged MLAs to collaborate with district collectors to attract investments and facilitate the implementation of new policies aimed at economic growth.

The Chief Minister called for proactive preparations for the Khelo India event, which Rajasthan will host in 2026, highlighting the importance of showcasing the state’s capabilities in sports and tourism.

During the meeting, comprehensive discussions were held on budgetary approvals, land allocation, and ongoing projects in the Ajmer and Bikaner divisions. MLAs praised the government’s developmental initiatives and congratulated the Chief Minister on the decision regarding district reorganization.
