Paris, May 26 (NationPress) An all-party group of nine Members of Parliament, headed by BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad, landed in Paris on Sunday evening. This visit marks the initial phase of their six-country tour under the Operation Sindoor outreach campaign, aimed at communicating India's unequivocal position against terrorism.
According to a social media update from the Indian Embassy in France, "An all-party delegation consisting of nine distinguished Parliamentarians and a notable former diplomat, led by @rsprasad, has arrived in Paris today to express India's firm and unambiguous stance against terrorism."
In another announcement on X, the Embassy stated, "A parliamentary delegation representing all political factions in India, accompanied by a notable former diplomat, has arrived in Paris today. The group, led by @rsprasad, intends to underscore India's resolute position against terrorism."

This delegation, the seventh in a series of international outreach initiatives following Operation Sindoor, includes Daggubati Purandeswari (BJP), Priyanka Chaturvedi (Shiv Sena-Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), Ghulam Ali Khatana (BJP), Amar Singh (Congress), Samik Bhattacharya (BJP), M. Thambidurai (AIADMK), former Union Minister M.J. Akbar, and Ambassador Pankaj Saran.
The Embassy highlighted that during their three-day visit, the delegation will interact with members of the Senate and National Assembly, think tanks, media representatives, and a diverse section of the Indian diaspora.
The group is slated to engage in various meetings with community organizations, think tanks, and parliamentarians in Paris before continuing to Italy and several other European nations, including the UK, Germany, and Denmark.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) commented, "United in the battle against terrorism, the seventh group of the all-party delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad has departed for a six-country visit," as they left New Delhi on Sunday.
