PatNew Delhi, Nov 6 (NationPress) On the concluding day of her three-day campaign for the Bihar Assembly elections, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta addressed four significant public assemblies, urging voters to support the NDA to prevent the return of 'jungle raj'.
In her addresses, she launched a fierce critique of the Mahagathbandhan, asserting that "the villains of corruption will soon face justice, while the incompetent will indulge in vacations abroad".
CM Gupta stated that the NDA government is the genuine protector of development, security, and stability, claiming that the era of 'jungle raj' is behind us and that Bihar is poised to advance towards holistic progress.
She spoke at public meetings across four Assembly constituencies: Warisaliganj, Sherghati, Dehri, and Karaghar, where she expressed optimism about the NDA's substantial victory in the forthcoming elections and elaborated on the government's essential development projects.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the people of Bihar are astute and well-informed, fully equipped to shape their future with clarity and determination.
She highlighted that the advancements Bihar has made over the past 15–20 years are attributable to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Questioning the integrity of the Mahagathbandhan, she remarked, "Those with hands stained by corruption and scandals; what moral standing do they have to request votes?"
In a subtle jab at RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, she reminded the audience of how some leaders had stooped so low as to embezzle funds intended for cattle feed, exploit the earnings of the impoverished, and neglect their responsibilities to protect women's dignity.
Taking a critical stance towards the Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Congress, Gupta stated, "This is Bihar. Here, only those who win the people's hearts can be considered true leaders. The villains of corruption will soon find themselves in jail."
She asserted that those who mislead the public with untruths and confusion are neither the genuine well-wishers of the populace nor deserving of political respect.
"While the people of Bihar fight for their rights, such inept individuals are busy vacationing abroad," she added.
CM Gupta highlighted that the NDA government has decisively placed Bihar on a growth trajectory by establishing new hospitals, constructing airports, and launching hundreds of new trains.
"Had these developmental initiatives commenced years earlier," she stated, "Bihar would not have lagged behind. During the 'Jungle Raj', the state lost its way in the darkness. It has taken immense effort to restore Bihar's direction - maintaining this momentum is now imperative."
She stressed the profound emotional bond between Delhi and Bihar, saying, "I hail from Delhi, and I can assure you that when Bihar thrives, Delhi rejoices; and when Delhi flourishes, blessings flow from every village in Bihar, from the mother whose son works in Delhi to the father whose family resides there."
She assured all families from Bihar living in Delhi that, as their elder sister, she would always stand by them to ensure their safety and dignity.
Urging the people to continue their support for development, the Chief Minister stated, "Bihar's momentum of progress must not falter now. The future will shape the state's destiny, and that destiny must be characterized by growth, stability, and pride."
