Patna, Aug 14 (NationPress) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai criticized RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday, asserting that the Congress has distanced itself from him and that the citizens will ultimately determine the next Chief Minister.
In a press interaction in Patna, Rai emphasized that the populace of Bihar has significantly turned their backs on the Congress, RJD, and Left parties.
“The RJD-Congress government will never regain power in Bihar. They will face defeat in the upcoming 2025 elections,” he declared.
Labeling Yadav as “nepotistic,” “corrupt,” and “greedy,” Rai accused him of continuing to partner with the Congress despite facing repeated “contempt” and “insult,” driven by a quest for power and singing the praises of the Congress.
“Tejashwi Yadav has lost his respect. Bihar is now seeking development, and an NDA government will be established here under Nitish Kumar,” he stated.
The BJP leader also referenced historical matters, claiming that “Nehru’s stubbornness and Jinnah’s jinn” were pivotal in the partition of India, which was opposed by Mahatma Gandhi.
“The partition occurred due to appeasement, discrimination, and religious hatred. Hindus and Sikhs were expelled from Pakistan, and the dignity of mothers and sisters was violated. Many lives were lost. Yet, the Congress still says ‘forget the partition’,” he remarked.
Regarding the ongoing Tiranga Yatra, Rai commented, “We are recalling the horrors of partition. If anyone seeks to appease and threaten the nation’s unity now, it will not be tolerated. The country will not support such individuals. The RJD and Congress do not even acknowledge the country for the sake of power.”
The exchanges between NDA leaders and Tejashwi Yadav have been escalating as the Bihar Assembly Election 2025 approaches.
The RJD leader has revealed the dual EPIC cards of Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, LJPRV MP Veena Devi, JDU MLC Dinesh Singh, and Muzaffarpur mayor Nirmala Devi.
Even Tejashwi Yadav’s dual EPIC numbers have surfaced publicly.
