New Delhi, April 26 (NationPress) A wave of celebration spread throughout the country on Saturday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed out more than 51,000 appointment letters to successful candidates chosen for government roles during the 15th Rozgar Mela.
The distribution occurred at 47 locations across India via video conferencing, with events hosted in Indore, Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Patna.
The appointments encompass various major ministries and departments including the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Department of Revenue, and Department of Higher Education.
In Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, PM Modi digitally addressed and presented appointment letters to 133 youth.
Chief Income Tax Commissioner Ajay Atri mentioned that the Rozgar Mela in the state was conducted in three cities -- Indore, Bhopal, and Gwalior. He noted that these new recruits will work in central departments, including the CGST, Income Tax, and IT divisions.
“This initiative plays a crucial role in the Viksit Bharat@2047 vision,” said Atri, highlighting the significance of job creation for national advancement.
Neha Jain, who secured a position as an IIT Junior Assistant, expressed her thanks to PM Modi, while Pawan Sahu celebrated his appointment as a Sub Inspector in the Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) department.
In Delhi, appointment letters were presented at Vigyan Bhavan. Recipients praised the transparency and efficiency of the recruitment process under the Modi administration.

Baghel acknowledged PM Modi’s pledge to provide over 10 lakh government jobs and termed the Rozgar Mela a “historic stride” towards empowering the youth.
“I feel honored to be part of this initiative. Today, we distributed appointment letters in sectors like CRPF, Income Tax, and more,” he stated.
Garima Singh, one of the recipients, remarked, “I worked diligently for this position. Today, I feel proud. Women are advancing, and PM Modi’s guidance has been instrumental in empowering us.”
Neha, another newly appointed candidate from IIT Indore, shared a heartfelt story: “I accepted this job on behalf of my late husband. I want to express my gratitude to PM Modi for helping me secure a future for my family.”
Minister Baghel also expressed sorrow over the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, imparting a serious tone to the otherwise festive occasion.
In Bihar’s capital, Patna, the Rozgar Mela was hosted at Convention Bhawan.
Union Minister Ram Nath Thakur oversaw the event, where 215 candidates received appointment letters. PM Modi addressed the assembly through video conference, reiterating the central government’s commitment to generating employment and enhancing national growth.
Minister Thakur congratulated both the Prime Minister and the successful candidates.
