Tirupati, Dec 26 (NationPress) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu commended Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Friday, highlighting his substantial role in the nation's development.
While sharing the stage with Mohan Bhagwat at the launch of the ‘Bharatiya Vigyan Sammelan 2025’, the Chief Minister expressed his appreciation for the RSS chief's “contributions to nation building”.
“I wish to recognize the efforts of Mohan Bhagwat. For many years, he has tirelessly worked in various regions, strengthening this organization through his dedication and experience while transcending political or constitutional boundaries,” stated the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader.
“Since 2009, he has managed the consistent growth of the RSS while upholding its discipline and nationwide presence. Under his guidance, the RSS continues to enhance grassroots service and promote volunteerism across India,” he mentioned.
CM Naidu also pointed out that Bhagwat has encouraged public interaction and outreach by fostering dialogue and understanding. “Through his speeches and engagements, he continually advocates for social harmony, national identity, and cultural unity. His contributions to national progress and the preservation of our traditional values through discipline and continuity are invaluable,” he remarked.
The Chief Minister described the event as a venue where “we proudly discuss our nation and our civilizational ethos, Bhartiyata.”
Naidu also endorsed Bhagwat's appeal for every Indian family to have a minimum of three children, asserting that this is vital for maintaining India's demographic advantage.
He expressed that if India concentrates on population growth, it will dominate globally well beyond 2047.
Furthermore, he indicated that if India effectively manages its population, around 20-25 crore Indians will migrate worldwide, playing significant roles in public and political governance.
CM Naidu, whose TDP aligns with the BJP-led NDA government at the national level, also affirmed that India enjoys a stable government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Individuals like Mohan Bhagwat Ji are laying the groundwork with values and ethics,” he stated.
He asserted that India uniquely embodies family values, which provide financial, health, and personal security.
Expressing optimism that India will emerge as the world's leading economy by 2047, he added that Mohan Bhagwat is “actively promoting and preparing without seeking any position.” “We all need to align with his ideology for this to become a reality,” he emphasized.
He urged leaders like Mohan Bhagwat to reflect on what kind of society India should aspire to in the future. “The disparity between the affluent and the less fortunate must be minimized. Every citizen deserves to live with respect and dignity while enjoying a higher living standard. Only then can we declare India as great,” he stated.
He remarked that the Bharatiya Vigyan Sammelan is pivotal in advancing Indian knowledge as a national movement. Six seminars have previously been conducted across the country, with Tirupati hosting the seventh.
CM Naidu noted that India’s knowledge is not a recent phenomenon, as it showcased principles of urban planning and engineering to the world 4,500 years ago.
He mentioned that India was a superpower in the knowledge economy, historically contributing to 40 percent of the world’s GDP during its golden era. Although there was a decline due to colonialism and economic policies, he highlighted that India initiated economic reforms in 1991 and gained an early advantage in information technology in the mid-1990s.
Recalling his contributions to the IT sector 25 years ago as the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, CM Naidu noted that today, Telangana boasts the highest per capita income, with Hyderabad recognized as the most livable city.
He stated that his current focus is on quantum computing, asserting that within six months, the first quantum computer will operate from Amaravati, and within two years, quantum computers will be produced and distributed globally.
Prominent figures such as Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh, NSA Board member G. Satheesh Reddy, and Vijnana Bharati President Sekhar C. Mande also spoke at the event.
