Patna, Jan 21 (NationPress) Santosh Kumar Singh, the Labour Resources Minister of Bihar, made an insulting comment regarding the mental health of the former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday.
In his remarks, Singh condemned Tejashwi Yadav’s performance and, in a mocking manner, implied that such a problem cannot be fixed by a mobile service provider but rather necessitates treatment in a medical facility situated near the Attari border, which is part of the India-Pakistan boundary.
This statement appears to be a part of the ongoing political feud between the BJP and the RJD within the state.
Singh's comments were made as Tejashwi Yadav has been persistently criticizing Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, alleging that his administration is managed by an alleged 'DK Boss,' whom he has labeled the 'Super CM' of Bihar.
In a direct retort, Singh accused Tejashwi Yadav of ignoring the controversial period when his parents, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, were in authority.
Singh claimed that during their time in office, Bihar experienced widespread lawlessness, including trader extortion and kidnappings, supposedly coordinated from the Chief Minister’s residence itself.
“Everyone knows who was the ‘Super CM’ back then,” Singh stated, without mentioning any names.
He also censured the previous government for the purported escalation of a “kidnapping industry” in Bihar, sarcastically questioning, “Who was the owner of it?”
Singh additionally commented on the dubious deaths of five individuals in Mathiya village, which falls under the Lauriya police station of West Champaran district.
He refrained from making any assumptions, indicating that the investigation is ongoing and promised that the results would lead to subsequent legal actions.
He stressed that the current government, under Nitish Kumar, adheres to a “zero tolerance” policy towards crime.
“No one will evade consequences after making a mistake. Let the investigation proceed,” Singh affirmed.
