New Delhi, Aug 6 (NationPress) The leader of Shiv Sena, Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, recently made a pointed remark at the Uddhav Thackeray-led faction of Shiv Sena. He emphasized that he has chosen the Lok Kalyan Marg as indicated by Balasaheb Thackeray, while others have opted for 10 Janpath.
"We are advancing along the path of public welfare illuminated by Balasaheb, while some individuals choose to travel to Delhi and head directly to 10 Janpath. Their actions are contrary to what Balasaheb stood for. The citizens are observing this disparity," Shinde stated.
In a further jab, he remarked, “Shiv Sena is a party committed to public welfare, in stark contrast to their faction, which resembles a private limited company.”
Shinde, accompanied by his family, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi to convey greetings, coinciding with a three-day visit by Uddhav Thackeray.
Addressing the media, Shinde asserted, "In a democracy, everyone is entitled to establish partnerships and coalitions. However, certain individuals, having lost public confidence, are attempting to navigate a precarious balance," subtly referencing Uddhav Thackeray.
"Voters support those who deliver results; those who remain inactive are sidelined by the public," he noted.
“When Veer Savarkar was ridiculed, they chose silence as they distanced themselves from Hindutva,” Shinde sharply criticized Uddhav Thackeray.
“Questioning the Army’s valor, disparaging India and the Prime Minister abroad, and echoing sentiments favorable to Pakistan is not patriotism—it is a display of affection for Pakistan,” he directed at Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi.
Shinde presented a portrait of Lord Shiva to the Prime Minister, commemorating the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’ and ‘Operation Mahadev’, which successfully neutralized terrorists.
“Just as Shiva defeated demons troubling the saints on Earth, the Indian Army has eradicated terrorists through these operations,” he elaborated.
Despite skepticism from Congress and the INDIA alliance regarding these operations, Operation Mahadev ultimately succeeded, fulfilling the aspirations of all Indians to eradicate terrorism. Thus, the portrait was presented to the Prime Minister,” Shinde concluded.
