Patna, April 8 (NationPress) Shivdeep Lande, a former IPS officer, has officially introduced a new political entity named 'Hind Sena' on Tuesday, with plans to contest all 243 seats in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
During a press conference in Patna, Lande, often referred to as the 'supercop' of Bihar, stated, "The aim of our party is to advocate for the rights of Bihar and empower the youth to take on leadership roles. Our platform will rise above caste divisions to serve individuals from all religions and communities."
Discussing the inspiration behind the party's name, Lande noted that the term 'Hind' stems from his experiences while serving in the police force.
"Every initiative I undertook as an IPS officer began with 'Jai Hind'. This spirit is reflected in the name of my party - Hind Sena - which will champion Bihar's rights," he explained.
Lande asserted that he has traveled throughout almost every district in Bihar in the past month, excluding Bettiah and Bagaha, to highlight the 'lack' of essential services in rural communities.
"Despite 70 years of independence, many areas lack paved roads, adequate housing, and residents often struggle for basic necessities like food and clothing. It is time for a transformation, which will be realized through democracy," he stressed.
Lande emphasized that every member of Hind Sena must adhere to three fundamental principles: humanity, justice, and service.
"This party will provide a platform for individuals who are socially aware and responsible," he remarked.
While he clarified that various individuals might represent Hind Sena on the ballot, he assured, "Behind every candidate, the name will be that of Shivdeep Lande."
Lande proclaimed himself the national president of Hind Sena and mentioned that the party is currently collecting public feedback and engaging with local issues at the grassroots level.
He indicated that a public relations initiative would continue throughout the state leading up to the elections.
