Srinagar, Feb 25 (NationPress) The Srinagar Heritage Festival 'Soun Meeraas', a project initiated by the district administration, is set to commence, shining a spotlight on the cultural richness, local traditions, heritage, and art of Srinagar through engaging live exhibitions and demonstrations.

The festival was inaugurated by Srinagar Deputy Commissioner Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat at the Jhelum River Front, featuring a painting and calligraphy competition that showcases the vibrant culture and traditions of the Kashmir Valley.

Taking place from February 25 to February 28, this event is organized by the Srinagar district administration in partnership with the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts, with the goal of preserving the essence of Kashmir’s cultural legacy and traditional practices for generations to come.
