The court granted a five-day police remand for the suspect. During this period, teams from CID Intelligence and the Intelligence Bureau (IB) are set to conduct a joint interrogation.
Jhabararam, hailing from Newar village in Pokhran tehsil, Jaisalmer district, was apprehended by the intelligence wing of the Rajasthan Police on January 25.
Initial questioning revealed critical information, leading to his formal arrest by Rajasthan Intelligence on Friday. Investigators indicated that a Pakistani woman first befriended Jhabararam, subsequently luring him through a honeytrap.
Thereafter, ISI operatives allegedly offered him substantial sums of money in exchange for sensitive details about the Indian Army.

The inquiry also unveiled that he maintained consistent communication with Pakistani handlers via social media, sharing OTPs from his SIM card, which enabled them to manage his WhatsApp account directly.
Jhabararam serves as an E-Mitra operator in Nevar village and was preparing for the teaching recruitment examination.
Investigators assert that for nearly two years, he has been providing confidential information about the Indian Army to Pakistani intelligence agencies for financial incentives. The investigation remains active, with further revelations anticipated during his custody.
