Patna, April 16 (NationPress) JD(U) MLC and spokesperson Neeraj Kumar on Wednesday launched a sharp criticism of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav for his alleged negligence towards his father and party chief Lalu Prasad, who is currently receiving treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi.

Lalu Prasad has seemingly lost his influence in the RJD party, but has he also become insignificant to his family? Tejashwi finally paid a visit to AIIMS Delhi, marking his presence after nearly 13 days since his father's admission to the hospital. Neeraj Kumar expressed, "Is this what the RJD's political family model looks like, with neither political trust nor family closeness?"

His comments followed Tejashwi's visit to Lalu, which Neeraj described as politically motivated, questioning both the timing of the visit and the internal politics of the RJD, labeling Lalu as politically handicapped and suggesting a lack of trust within the Yadav family.

While Lalu Prasad is reportedly on the mend, Tejashwi assured that his father is improving and expected to return to Patna soon.

Neeraj Kumar also poked fun at the recent Congress-RJD meeting, stating, "Tejashwi went to Delhi with hopes of being named the CM candidate, but the Congress has left him hanging on a waiting list."

He further questioned the strength of the RJD, remarking that Lalu Prasad, who is politically incapacitated, appears to be pleading for his son's elevation to CM, while the Congress proceeds with caution.

BJP spokesperson Kuntal Krishnan accused both Congress and RJD of indulging in pressure politics within the Mahagathbandhan. He remarked, "The Congress is leveraging pressure on RJD, with their leaders making frequent visits to Bihar as part of a strategic plan to influence the alliance."

Referring to the meeting between Tejashwi and Congress leadership in Delhi, Krishnan stated that the internal dynamics of the opposition coalition are characterized by distrust and power struggles.

No one is sincere in the Mahagathbandhan. The RJD and Congress are attempting to manipulate one another, with evident cracks forming during their Delhi discussions,” he added.

This statement emerges amidst rising concerns regarding seat-sharing disputes and leadership aspirations within the opposition coalition.
