Hyderabad, Jan 20 (NationPress) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N. Chandrababu Naidu convened at Zurich Airport in Switzerland on Monday.
The two leaders deliberated on the developmental initiatives being undertaken in both Telugu States and explored various investment prospects.
The delegations from both states engaged in discussions at the airport upon their arrival to participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos.
As per the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office, NRIs from Telangana extended a warm reception to the Chief Minister, Information Technology and Industry Minister D. Sridhar Babu, along with other delegation members.
The Andhra Pradesh delegation, led by Chief Minister Naidu, also arrived at Zurich Airport around the same time. The chief ministers and their ministers exchanged greetings and took photographs together.
During his first day in Davos, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to meet with industrialists. The CMO highlighted that the state delegation is particularly intent on presenting Telangana to the global community as a premier investment hub.
The Telangana team reached Davos following a three-day tour in Singapore, where they engaged with ministers, business leaders, and investors across various sectors to strongly advocate for investments in Telangana.
Meanwhile, Andhra Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, accompanied by Ministers Nara Lokesh, T.G. Bharat, and a team of officials, landed at Zurich Airport shortly thereafter.
The delegation is poised to hold discussions with representatives from leading companies to draw in investments. The Andhra Pradesh team features Minister for Information Technology Nara Lokesh, Industry Minister T. G. Bharath, and senior officials.
Chief Minister Naidu and his ministers received a warm welcome from members of the Europe TDP Forum and the Indian diaspora.
Scheduled discussions with investors in Zurich are on the agenda for the Andhra Pradesh delegation. Before departing for Davos, Naidu expressed their commitment to reintegrating Andhra Pradesh into the global investment landscape.
