Hyderabad, Jan 20 (NationPress) A delegation led by Telangana's Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy commenced a four-day journey to Davos on Monday to partake in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum. Following a three-day stop in Singapore, the delegation arrived in Davos, aiming to engage with leaders from numerous national and multinational corporations to attract investments to the state.

This delegation, which includes D. Sridhar Babu, the Minister for Information Technology, Industry, and Commerce, intends to present the potential of Telangana on a global scale and emphasize the vast investment opportunities available in Hyderabad and other regions of the state.

During its final day in Singapore on Sunday, the group interacted with executives from various companies and representatives of the Singapore Business Federation.

As per the Chief Minister’s Office, the delegation engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding policies, possibilities, and investment potentials in Hyderabad and Telangana.

The delegation had conversations with Pradeepto Biswas, Founder and CEO of Indian Ocean Group; Lim Him Chaun, Country Head, DBS; Amit Sharma, Group Head - Telecom, DBS; Gautam Banerjee, Sr MD and Chairman, Blackstone Singapore; Peng Wei Tan, Sr MD, Real Estate, Blackstone Singapore; and Omar Shahzad, CEO of Meinhardt Group.

While in Singapore for three days, the delegation met with representatives from various global organizations and investors. Telangana's Young India Skill University formalized a partnership with the Singapore Institute of Technical Education (ITE) through a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at enhancing skill development.

STT Global Data Centres India Private Limited (STT GDC India), a prominent data centre solutions provider, signed an MoU worth Rs 3,500 crore to establish a data centre campus in Hyderabad’s Future City.

CapitaLand Group, a leading global real estate investment and development firm, announced a Rs 450 crore investment for the creation of a cutting-edge 1 million square foot IT park in Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister enjoyed a boat ride on the Singapore River and shared insights on ‘X’, emphasizing the effective practices related to river rejuvenation, water management, and heritage preservation that he observed while in the city-state, alongside new iconic developments.

“We must learn yet adapt best practices to create a world-class Hyderabad, and we will,” affirmed the Chief Minister, who is committed to revitalizing the Musi River in Hyderabad.
