Hyderabad, Jan 21 (NationPress) The India Pavilion at the World Economic Forum in Davos was inaugurated collaboratively by Union Food Processing Minister Chirag Paswan, Union Minister of State (MoS) for Skill Development Jayant Chaudhary, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, state IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu, and Kerala State Minister for Industries and Law P. Rajeev.

Together, they also officially opened the Telangana Pavilion, followed by a rigorous discussion on various projects where the state could serve as a model for India.

The two Union Ministers pledged their utmost support for several state initiatives in skills development and food processing, according to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

In the initial meeting at the Telangana Pavilion, Tarek Sultan, Chairman of Agility, met with IT & Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu. The Minister emphasized that the government’s focus is on farmers and sustainably enhancing their income.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is spearheading the state delegation at the 55th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum. This year’s discussions during the three-day meet are centered around the theme ‘Industries In Intelligent Age’.

Roundtable discussions and seminars are being conducted with a focus on adapting industrial strategies to align with scientific and technological advancements as well as addressing the increasing energy demands.

Approximately 3,000 participants, including delegates from various countries and states, experts across diverse fields, and industrialists, are present at the event.

As per the CMO, prominent companies from both India and abroad are expressing significant interest in the recently implemented clean and green energy policy, along with the incentives offered by the government for renewable energy and pumped storage power generation.

In addition to energy production, discussions are underway regarding the development of the Fourth City in Hyderabad, the expansion of AI-based IT services, and investment in establishing cutting-edge data centres.

On the second day, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Minister Sridhar Babu, and officials will engage in discussions with CEOs of various firms in Davos. Scheduled meetings include representatives from companies such as Amazon, Unilever, Skyroot Aerospace, and Sify Technologies. The Chief Minister will also meet with representatives from various companies and industrialists under the auspices of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

The TelanganaRising Team will hold discussions aimed at attracting investments primarily in IT, data centres, and the clean and green energy sector. Several agreements are anticipated to be signed during this occasion. The state government disclosed that it attracted an investment of Rs 40,232 crore at Davos last year and expects to secure even higher investments this time.
