Hyderabad, April 21 (NationPress) The delegation from Telangana, spearheaded by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, made a compelling case for attracting investments in the state during the Osaka World Expo in Japan.

This delegation extended invitations for investments across numerous sectors and initiatives such as the circular economy, urban infrastructure, and environmental rejuvenation, including projects like the River Musi, the Regional Ring Road and Radial Roads, expansion of Metro Rail, Future City development, software, advanced technologies including AI, pharmaceuticals, bulk drugs, tourism, textiles, agriculture, and green energy.

As stated by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Telangana is the first Indian state to take part in this expo, showcasing its potential to the esteemed members of Osaka's business community.

"We aim to deepen our historical ties into sustainable partnerships. Together, we can forge alliances that empower communities, innovate for the future, and drive transformative changes,” Chief Minister Reddy remarked.

"We guarantee policy stability, a high ease of doing business, and exceptional infrastructure within a dynamic and growing ecosystem. Numerous Japanese companies are thriving in Telangana, and we invite many more to join us. Come to Hyderabad, design your products, manufacture them in Telangana, and leverage our strategic location as a launchpad for the Indian market and global exports,” he added.

Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu assured investors that the state government offers support through single-window approvals and tailored incentives.

"Hyderabad, our capital, stands as a prominent global hub for IT and life sciences. We possess a robust ecosystem for aerospace and defense, electronics, and textiles. With the Chief Minister's vision, we are set to advance with the creation of the Future City—India's inaugural Net Zero industrial city. Encompassing 30,000 acres, Future City will prioritize clean energy, smart mobility, and the circular economy. We are collaborating with Japan’s Marubeni Corp to develop a premier industrial park there," he stated.

Sridhar Babu highlighted various projects, including the extensive 370-km-long Regional Ring Road and Radial Roads that will connect the Regional Ring Road (RRR) and Outer Ring Road (ORR), establishing a base for significant dedicated manufacturing zones in India.

"The zone situated between the ORR and RRR is perfect for EVs, energy storage, electronics, semiconductors, and aerospace industries. To facilitate exports, we are constructing a dry port linked to the nearest sea port via dedicated road and rail infrastructure,” he noted.
