Hyderabad, Jan 17 (NationPress) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy commenced his Singapore visit on Friday with a session alongside Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Vivian Balakrishnan.

The Chief Minister, who is at the helm of an official delegation, characterized the gathering as productive and engaging.

As per the announcements from the Chief Minister’s Office, Revanth Reddy prioritized establishing extensive, long-term alliances that encompass infrastructure development, energy, sustainable green energy initiatives, water management, river rejuvenation, tourism, education and skills development, IT parks, and more.

Telangana's Minister for Information Technology, Electronic and Commerce, Industries and Commerce, D. Sridhar Babu, along with senior officials, were also present during the discussions.

Sridhar Babu shared on ‘X’ that they deliberated on the collaboration for Telangana's Skill University and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between ITE-Singapore and Young India Skill University.

“This collaboration will pave the way for enduring partnerships in sectors like infrastructure development, renewable energy, sustainable initiatives, tourism, education, and skills enhancement. Eagerly anticipating a remarkable journey ahead, fostering growth and success for Telangana!,” the Minister stated.

The Telangana delegation embarked on a two-nation tour to Singapore and Davos aimed at attracting investments to the state. They will stay in Singapore until January 19 before heading to Davos for a three-day visit.

Minister Sridhar Babu and senior officials from the Industries Department are members of this delegation.

The group will engage in discussions concerning Skill University and other investment-related agreements in Singapore prior to participating in the World Economic Forum’s annual assembly in Davos.

Before initiating the visit, the Chief Minister remarked that Telangana has positioned itself as the premier destination for global investments in the nation, drawing major players in both the manufacturing and service sectors.

The state government has developed an investor-friendly environment to attract domestic and international investors, as stated by the Chief Minister.

He instructed officials to prepare efforts to showcase Hyderabad on a global platform and invite significant investments.
