Revanth Reddy emphasized that the state’s welfare initiatives and development projects necessitate substantial financial resources.
He urged the Centre to assist the state in its efforts to meet these objectives.
Continuing his critique of the former Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government, CM Revanth Reddy remarked that opposition leaders have remained unyielding even after the BRS was defeated in the Jubilee Hills by-election.
He advised opposition figures to maintain respectfulness during public speeches.
The Chief Minister recalled that during the BRS regime, leaders had cautioned farmers against cultivating paddy, suggesting it was akin to self-destruction.
He also accused the previous BRS administration of obstructing the distribution of ration cards to those in need.
According to him, BRS leaders prioritized their personal financial growth over the state's development.
Highlighting education as a vital factor for transformation, the Chief Minister assured that he is committed to providing necessary educational facilities.
“In our first year of governance, we filled 60,000 vacancies. We will soon announce notifications for an additional 40,000 jobs,” CM Revanth Reddy stated, encouraging unemployed youth to study diligently for government positions.
Regarding the upcoming Gram Panchayat elections, the Chief Minister advised candidates against extravagant spending to win votes, emphasizing the importance of winning public trust.
He insisted that awareness on village development issues should be promoted.
He encouraged the populace to elect sarpanches who are willing to collaborate with Ministers and MLAs.
Stating that the Telangana Rising Global Summit is being organized to present the state as an ideal destination for global investment, the Chief Minister mentioned that the government is concentrating on developing a robust network of ports, airports, roads, and communication technologies.
He assured that Warangal would soon be developed to match Hyderabad’s status.
“We will construct an outer ring road, underground drainage, and an airport for Warangal similar to those in Hyderabad. These projects will commence by March 31,” he affirmed.
