Hyderabad, May 23 (NationPress) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy affirmed on Friday his commitment to collaborate with the Union government for the advancement of the state.

He mentioned that he plans to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi as frequently as possible to advocate for increased funding.

During a public gathering after unveiling the statue of Sri Basaveshwara Maharaj in Huggelli village of Sangareddy district, he emphasized that true progress can only be achieved when both the Central and state governments cooperate.

The Chief Minister, who inaugurated development projects worth Rs 494.67 crore, expressed his intention to engage in political discussions solely during election periods while focusing on the state's development with collective efforts.

He criticized former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) for not delivering on his promise to provide employment for one individual in every household, claiming he misled the youth of Telangana.

Revanth Reddy asserted that throughout KCR's decade-long tenure, job opportunities were primarily given to his family members and noted that the Congress party has prioritized government recruitment since taking office.

The Chief Minister reiterated his invitation to the Leader of Opposition KCR to participate in Assembly sessions and address the public's concerns, suggesting that he should offer corrections if the government errs.

He warned that if KCR continues to avoid the Assembly due to his lack of power, the populace will respond accordingly.

"I am always with the people, regardless of election outcomes. I have maintained humility even after becoming Chief Minister. I engage with everyone, regardless of their social standing," he stated, pledging to persist until the state achieves its developmental goals.

He recalled former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's connection to Medak and her contributions to the area's growth, asserting that Medak is deeply linked with her legacy.

He underscored the importance of completing the NIMZ (National Investment and Manufacturing Zone) in Medak, which had seen progress halted under the previous administration. "With the people's government now in power, we have accelerated land acquisition and increased compensation for those displaced," he noted.

Revanth Reddy announced that Hyundai will soon commence operations within the NIMZ, with the government sanctioning 5,612 Indiramma houses for those affected by the NIMZ projects.
