Telangana CM to Undertake Unannounced Inspections Post January 26

Hyderabad, Jan 10 (NationPress) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy declared on Friday his intention to carry out unannounced inspections after January 26 and cautioned officials about facing serious repercussions if they display negligence in their duties.
While addressing district Collectors, he stated he would commence district tours post-January 26 and urged them to notify field-level officers.
He emphasized that Collectors should not remain confined to their offices but actively undertake field visits.
Revanth Reddy expressed that the welfare of the underprivileged and the state's development are the “two eyes” of the “People’s Government”.
The Chief Minister articulated that the duty of fostering trust in the government among the populace lies with the district Collectors, who are regarded as the true representatives of the government at the grassroots level.
He commended the Collectors for effectively conducting the census covering socio-economic, educational, employment, political, and caste aspects.
The Chief Minister directed that both female IAS and IPS officers should visit girls' hostels at least once a month, staying overnight to identify and address issues faced by students.
Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, along with Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, P. Srinivasa Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Jupally Krishna Rao, and Seethakka, along with State Planning Board Vice Chairman Chinna Reddy, Chief Advisor to the Government Vem Narender Reddy, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, and Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of all departments were also in attendance.
The conference with Collectors also covered the implementation of Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, new ration cards, and the preparation of beneficiary lists for these schemes.
The Chief Minister provided directives on executing Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, and for issuing new ration cards and sanctioning Indiramma houses.
These initiatives are set to be launched on January 26.
Under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, farmers will receive an investment support of Rs 12,000 per acre annually, while the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa scheme will provide Rs 12,000 per year to every landless agricultural laborer's family.
Revanth Reddy instructed officials to conduct Grama Sabhas in villages and ward gatherings in all municipalities for the schemes' implementation. The data collected for beneficiary selection should be disclosed during the gram sabhas.
He remarked that there had been widespread misuse of public funds under the previous government in the name of Rythu Bandhu, cautioning against repeating such errors. He insisted that all non-agricultural lands should be excluded from the Rythu Bharosa scheme.
