Hyderabad, April 15 (NationPress) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday encouraged the Congress MLAs to engage with the public and elucidate the schemes instituted by the state government.

During the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting, he urged the MLAs to visit every village within their respective Assembly constituencies from April 16 to June 2.

The Chief Minister informed the legislators that he would also dedicate time to interact with the public from May 1 to June 2.

"It is the duty of all to connect with the populace and clarify the significant decisions made by the government," he asserted.

He emphasized the importance of ensuring that the advantages of all welfare schemes being executed by the People's Government reach the citizens.

"The extent of good we do for the people is not the only metric; we must actively engage with them. If we aspire to win again, we need to start reaching out to the people today. Raising awareness about government welfare schemes is crucial," he stated.

The Chief Minister also instructed the MLAs to compile a report outlining the developmental needs of their respective Assembly constituencies, promising that the government would take charge of fulfilling those requirements.

Revanth Reddy stated that the government has discovered lasting solutions to several long-standing issues.

He praised the fine rice distribution initiative as an exceptional program, claiming it will be remembered as fondly as the Rs 2 per kg rice scheme introduced in the past. He questioned why fine rice is not available in BJP-ruled states and dubbed the fine rice distribution as "our scheme, our patent, and our brand."

He also advised the legislators that the benefits of the newly initiated Bhu Bharati Portal should be accessible to farmers. "The flagship Indiramma housing scheme stands as a model for the nation. The true beneficiaries at the grassroots level must be identified, and Indiramma houses should be allocated strictly to deserving poor families. This scheme needs to be brought to the people on the ground," he stated.

Revanth Reddy asserted that by conducting a caste survey, the government has resolved a century-old dilemma. "We enacted legislation to ensure 42 percent reservation for the underprivileged in education, employment, and political avenues. This reflects our commitment to transparent governance," he remarked.

He noted that the government has also provided an enduring solution to the intricate issue of the categorization of scheduled castes.

He accused the opposition of disseminating false information regarding the Hyderabad Central University land utilizing Artificial Intelligence. "The opposition's campaign was so persuasive that even Prime Minister Modi made bulldozer remarks based on it," he added.

He claimed that the BJP and the BRS are collaboratively spreading a toxic narrative against the People's Government.

“Just yesterday, Bandi Sanjay and Kishan Reddy were criticizing our administration. Now, Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi has also joined the fray. Modi is facing challenges after the People’s Government unveiled numerous significant schemes in Telangana. SC categorization has become a hurdle for Modi. The caste census will serve as a death warrant for him,” he claimed.

He asserted that substantial discussions are occurring nationwide regarding the Telangana development model, indicating that the BJP and the BRS have united to create disruptions for the Congress government in Telangana.

State Congress President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, ministers, and other leaders participated in the meeting.
