Key Takeaways
Hyderabad, April 2 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, announced on Thursday that the primary goal of the state government is to implement significant improvements in the lives of its citizens.
He emphasized that the administration is dedicated to welfare and development without any compromises.
On the occasion of the Gram Sabhas commencing across the state, he shared a message as part of a 99-day action initiative named 'Praja Palana-Pragati Pranalika' (people's governance-progress plan), which aims to inform the public about various government schemes.
He pointed out that it has been two years and three months since the ‘people’s government’ came into power. “Despite facing economic hurdles and rectifying past mistakes, our government remains committed to welfare and development. We see ourselves not as rulers but as servants, consistently aligning our efforts with the aspirations and requirements of the people,” he conveyed in his message. This message will be disseminated by officials in all gram sabhas.
The Chief Minister asserted that every decision taken by the government prioritizes the welfare of the populace, social responsibility, and the future of the state. He noted that the public demonstrated their support for the ‘people’s government’ in by-elections, panchayat elections, and municipal elections, which has further heightened the government’s sense of duty.
“Our government initiatives are not just theoretical. We are committed to creating real improvements in people’s lives. With this goal in mind, we have launched the ‘Praja Palana - Pragathi Pranalika’ program. This initiative is expected to operate like a movement for 99 days, starting from March 6, involving coordination across all departments from the village level to the state level,” he stated.
The Chief Minister urged every officer to prioritize resolving village issues. He called for quick processing of files, maintaining cleanliness in government offices, and ensuring transparency in decision-making.
He highlighted various initiatives such as free bus travel for women, gas cylinders priced at Rs 500, free electricity for up to 200 units, Arogyasri, ration cards, Sanna Biyyam (fine rice), Indiramma Illu (housing), and women's empowerment programs to ensure they reach their intended beneficiaries.
The Chief Minister encouraged citizens to participate actively under the vision of “Telangana Rising - 2047,” aiming to position Telangana as a leader not only economically but across all sectors globally.
“Every member of the community should be an integral part of this vision. We have categorized the state into CURE, PURE, RARE. Within these frameworks, we should set an example to the world in the services, manufacturing, and agricultural domains,” he added.
