Rivulets, lakes, and ponds have overflowed as a result of the continuous downpour, flooding vulnerable areas. This low-pressure phenomenon has predominantly impacted southern Telangana, resulting in heavy to extremely heavy rain in certain locales, as reported by officials.
Districts including Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Adilabad, Khammam, and Rangareddy have experienced substantial rainfall since last night.
The highest recorded rainfall occurred in Maddukur, located in the Bhadradri Kothagudem district, with an impressive 12.7 cm, closely followed by 12.6 cm in Jadcherla (Mahabubnagar) and 12.4 cm in Pargi (Vikarabad).
