Hyderabad, Aug 13 (NationPress) Intense rainfall swept through various regions of Telangana, including the capital city, Hyderabad, on Wednesday due to a low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal. The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has raised a red alert for the entire state, effective for the next two days.
The director of the Meteorological Centre, K. Nagaratna, confirmed that the red alert is applicable for both Wednesday and Thursday throughout Telangana.
Specific districts under a red warning include Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Medak, Medchal–Malkajgiri, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Bhupalpally, and Mulugu.
