Through the Indiramma Minority Women Yojana, the state will grant Rs 50,000 to widows, divorcees, orphans, and unmarried women aiming to launch small enterprises.
The 'Revantanna Ka Sahara Miskeenso ke liey' scheme will provide mopeds to the Fakir and Dudekula communities, with a financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh per beneficiary.
The Minister encouraged the Muslim minority community to take full advantage of these initiatives. "These programs aim to elevate the living conditions of minorities and offer financial support to underprivileged families. The Indiramma Yojana is designed to empower widows, divorcees, orphans, and unmarried women to initiate small businesses and achieve self-sufficiency," he stated.
"By supplying mopeds to members of the Fakir and Dudekula groups, we aim to enhance their financial stability," he continued.
He emphasized that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is a leader who delivers on his promises promptly. These initiatives stem from his foresight and dedication. The Minister noted that the government has earmarked Rs 30 crore solely for these two programs, showcasing its commitment to minority welfare.
He expressed pride in launching such innovative schemes within just two months of assuming his ministerial role. He urged beneficiaries to leverage this support for their families' advancement. “The development of minorities transcends mere subsidies; it focuses on steering them towards self-employment. These schemes will not only assist families but also enhance women's confidence,” he asserted.
Laxman Kumar stated that as small businesses flourish, youth in these families will discover improved prospects in education and employment.
"The Congress government is dedicated to fulfilling the aspirations of minorities and ensuring equitable opportunities for everyone. These are not short-term relief efforts, but rather a foundation for the sustainable development of minority communities," he remarked.
The Minister assured that under CM Revanth Reddy's leadership, the government will persist in rolling out more innovative initiatives for the benefit of minority populations.
