Patna, July 22 (NationPress) In a significant development in the Chandan Mishra murder case, a combined force of the Bihar STF and Bhojpur police apprehended three suspects following an encounter in Bhojpur district on Tuesday.

The confrontation occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. near a river along the Bihiya-Kateya road, within the jurisdiction of the Bihiya police station.

Acting on intelligence reports, the police and STF encircled the individuals connected to the Chandan Mishra murder.

In retaliation, the suspects opened fire, leading to a return of gunfire from the police.

Two of the suspects, Balwant Kumar (22, from Liladharpur, Buxar) and Raviranjan Singh (20, from Chakrahi, Bhojpur), were injured during the shootout.
