Hyderabad, Feb 20 (NationPress) In a heartbreaking incident, three family members lost their lives due to electrocution near Pegadapally village in the Nizamabad district of Telangana on Thursday.

The victims were recognized as residents of Satapur in the Renjal Mandal of the same district.

Gangaram, his wife Balamani, and their son Kishan were out hunting for wild boars when they inadvertently came into contact with a live electric wire in an agricultural field. Tragically, they were pronounced dead at the scene.

Upon being informed by nearby residents, the police arrived promptly and transported the bodies to the Government Hospital in Bodhan for an autopsy.

In an unrelated event, a young man drowned in a lake within the Medchal Malkajgiri district. As per police reports, the young man and his friends had traveled from Hyderabad to Yadgarpally near Keesara to celebrate a birthday.

The drowned individual, identified as Surya, was swimming in the lake.

Officials reported that he was originally from Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and had been living in Hyderabad.

The police have initiated an investigation into the case.

Additionally, a young female doctor from Hyderabad is feared to have been swept away by the Tungabhadra river in Karnataka. This incident took place on Wednesday in Sanapur, located in the Koppal district.

Ananya Rao (26) had accompanied friends to the river for a picnic. She jumped into the water for a swim but is believed to have been carried away by a strong current.

Her friends notified local authorities, prompting a search operation that included skilled swimmers. The search continued into Thursday.

Both the Karnataka State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been requested to provide assistance.

A video showing the doctor jumping into the river without any safety equipment or life jacket has gained significant attention online.
