This visit will focus on the inauguration of significant development projects, introduction of new initiatives, and engagement with various stakeholder groups, as confirmed by government officials on Saturday.
On November 25, CM Stalin will unveil the long-anticipated Coimbatore Semmozhi Poonga, a remarkable urban green space being constructed on the grounds of the Coimbatore Central Prison, with an investment of Rs 214 crore.
Spanning 45 acres, this eco-park is designed to provide a major recreational hub, complete with landscaped gardens, walking paths, themed sections, and nature-based attractions.
This inauguration signifies a crucial achievement in Coimbatore's urban enhancement initiatives.
Prior to the Chief Minister's visit, Municipal Administration Minister K.N. Nehru inspected the site along with DMK MLA V. Senthil Balaji, District Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, and Corporation Commissioner M. Sivaguru Prabakaran.
Minister Nehru urged officials to hasten the remaining tasks, particularly at the entrance.
Following the inspection, he remarked that the park is scheduled to open to the public in the first week of December. "Most works are finished. Only finishing touches are left, especially at the entrance. We have increased manpower to ensure we meet the deadline," he added.
During his time in Coimbatore, CM Stalin will also engage with school students and later attend the Tamil Nadu Rising Conclave, a prestigious investment forum where new rounds of industrial and infrastructure investments are anticipated.
On November 26, CM Stalin will proceed to Erode district, where he will inaugurate a memorial hall featuring a statue of freedom fighter Pollan at Jayarampuram in Modakkurichi.
He will subsequently pay tribute at the memorial of Theeran Chinnamalai, an iconic figure from the Independence era.
Later, CM Stalin will preside over a major government event at the newly established Erode bus stand, where he will inaugurate completed projects, lay the groundwork for new schemes, and distribute welfare assistance reaching 1.8 lakh beneficiaries, totaling Rs 605 crore.
The Chief Minister will also unveil a statue of former MP S.K. Paramasivan at Chithode.
Paramasivan was instrumental in the establishment and growth of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers' Federation (Aavin).
