Tragic Incident: MBBS Student Leaps from Sixth Floor of Hostel, Passes Away

Jaipur, Dec 3 (NationPress) An MBBS student tragically ended his life by jumping from the rooftop of his hostel at BR Ambedkar Medical College in Udaipur on Tuesday.

A police representative stated they have secured the body and transported it to the mortuary of the district hospital.

The student who lost his life has been identified as Rahul Kumar Garasiya, a second-year MBBS student.

Fellow students reported to the police that Rahul was studying late into the night until approximately 2:30 AM in his room. Authorities noted that he jumped around 3 AM from the sixth floor of the hostel.

Police discovered the student’s mobile phone, jacket, and slippers on the sixth floor.

According to police reports, the college examinations are currently underway, and Rahul had struggled with a paper two days prior. He had discussed his concerns about the exam with his friends.

Shivganj DSP Pushpendra Verma stated that Rahul was originally from Pali.

The DSP mentioned that upon receiving the report, he proceeded to the hospital, where the body is now located in the trauma center.

“The principal of the medical college, Dr. Shravan Kumar Meena, has filed a report. We are now waiting for feedback from the family before taking any further actions,” the DSP indicated.
