In this crash, the rider, Gaurav Kumar Rajak, also known as Tinku, and his father-in-law, Sahdev Mandal, suffered critical injuries. Local residents quickly transported them to the trauma center in Bagodar, but unfortunately, medical professionals pronounced them dead upon arrival.

Gaurav, a local from Kalali Road under the jurisdiction of Sariya police station, was reportedly en route to Bagodar with his father-in-law for urgent matters.

Their untimely deaths left their family in profound grief, with relatives visibly distraught at the site of the tragedy. The deceased were later sent to Giridih Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Earlier that day, another fatal incident claimed the lives of three young men in a collision between a motorcycle and a truck on the Kolebira-Gumla road in Simdega district around midnight.

The victims -- Suraj Baghwar, Amrit Baghwar, and Manu Tete, all residing in Kombakeera under the Kolebira police station -- were returning home from a birthday celebration when the tragedy struck.

The impact was so intense that two of the young men died instantly, while the third, who had fallen to the roadside, succumbed to his injuries en route to Ranchi's RIMS hospital.

Upon being informed, police station in-charge Shashi Shankar Singh arrived at the scene and, with assistance from a crane, retrieved the bodies of the two victims trapped beneath the truck. All three bodies were subsequently returned to their families after post-mortem procedures on Tuesday.

As the remains arrived in their hometown, a wave of sorrow enveloped the entire community.
