Kochi, Aug 3 (NationPress) Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan spearheaded the tributes as esteemed Malayalam literary critic, writer, orator, academic, and former MLA M.K. Sanoo (97) was interred with full state honors at the Ravipuram crematorium here on Sunday evening.
The funeral procession commenced around 4 p.m. from the Ernakulam Town Hall, where a multitude gathered to pay their final respects.
Sanoo passed away on Saturday while undergoing treatment at Amrita Hospital, Kochi.
He had been in the intensive care unit due to complications from a hip fracture incurred in a recent fall.

On Sunday morning, his remains were transported to his residence, ‘Sandhya’, from the hospital mortuary.
