Jammu, June 28 (NationPress) On Saturday, a tragic incident claimed the lives of two individuals when a truck veered off the road and plunged into a steep gorge on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district.
Authorities reported that the truck was traveling from Jammu to Srinagar when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll into a deep gorge in the Nachinala area.
Both the truck operator and his assistant were pronounced dead at the scene. Their remains have been transported to the Sub-district Hospital Banihal for necessary legal procedures. The driver has been identified as Raju from Udhampur. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
