Unity Among Sanatanis Will Shield India, Says CM Yogi Adityanath
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mathura, April 8 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called on the Sanatan community to unite with strength, asserting that if all Sanatanis stand together, no adversaries or conspirators against Hindus will be able to inflict harm upon India.
Speaking at the Shri Malukpeeth Ashram in Vrindavan, during the Shri Sitaram Nikunj Ashtayam Leela Mahotsav to celebrate the 452nd birth anniversary of “Saint Shrimad Jagadguru Dwaracharya Shri Malukdas Ji Maharaj,” the Chief Minister emphasized the significant power of unity.
He referenced Ayodhya, famously known as Ramnagari, highlighting that prior to 2017, the city had just three hours of electricity daily. Devotees chanting Jai Shri Ram were frequently met with hostility, facing batons rather than reverence, amidst narrow lanes and crumbling structures.
Today, he noted, Ayodhya is reminiscent of the grandeur of the ‘Treta Yuga’ (the second of the four world ages) due to the collective voice of saints that overcame a 500-year-old stigma, resulting in the construction of the magnificent Shri Ram Temple.
CM Yogi Adityanath conveyed that when respected saints prioritize the overarching cause of Sanatan Dharma over personal interests, ashrams, and factions, a remarkable awakening occurs.
He asserted that personal agendas should never hinder the advancement of the nation and Sanatan Dharma. The path forward must be unyielding and steadfast, guided by the spirit of “Charaiveti-Charaiveti,” which means ever onward.
The Chief Minister expressed that his generation is fortunate to witness the Ram Temple movement, the liberation of the Janmabhoomi, the temple's construction, and its grand Pran-Pratishtha.
He reminisced that the temple was destroyed in 1528 by Babur’s commander Mir Baqi, yet less than 500 years later, a magnificent structure has arisen, empowered by saints and the dual-engine government.
CM Yogi also drew comparisons to Sambhal, where the Shri Harihar Temple was demolished in 1526, leading to riots and the loss of Hindu lives.
He pointed out that the current administration has removed encroachments from 67 pilgrimage sites and 19 wells, allocated funds for the 84-Kosi Parikrama, and is working on developing infrastructure like roads, sarais, and dharmshalas to revive its cultural heritage.
Mentioning saints such as Malukdas Ji, who lived through the reigns of four Mughal emperors, and Tulsidas Ji, who boldly proclaimed that India recognizes only one true King, Lord Shri Ram, the Chief Minister underscored that the spiritual awakening inspired by saints forms the very foundation of modern India.
He praised Tulsidas for rejecting offers from Akbar’s court and, through Ramleela, igniting a collective consciousness that continues to unify villages across North India beyond caste or creed.
CM Yogi asserted that the tales of Shri Ramkatha, Shrimad Bhagavat Mahapurana, and Shiv Mahapurana symbolize the story of India itself, attracting millions of devotees who discover life's guidance within them.
He concluded by urging for ongoing unity to uphold Sanatan principles and successfully navigate historical challenges.
During the event, the Chief Minister offered prayers, performed Gau Pujan by feeding jaggery to cows, and reinforced the message of selfless dedication to Dharma and the nation.
