Lucknow, March 22 (NationPress) An Investors' Meet was held in Lucknow as part of the PM Mitra Park initiative, aimed at developing a massive Textile and Apparel park spanning over 1,000 acres at the Lucknow-Hardoi border. During this significant gathering, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath formalized two Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).

Business leaders present at the meeting commended the PM Mitra Park initiative, asserting that it would propel Uttar Pradesh to a prominent position in the textile and apparel sector.

The Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park initiative seeks to create integrated textile zones equipped with top-tier infrastructure, fostering an entire textile value chain from spinning to garment production, thereby enhancing India's global competitiveness in the textile industry.

In an interview with IANS, Upasana Arora, Managing Director of Yashoda Super Speciality Hospitals, remarked: "The event today was remarkable and uplifting. It was motivating for all attendees, especially with both Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the Chief Secretary in attendance. Investors were offered financial incentives, contributing to a highly positive environment. The PM Mitra Park is a commendable initiative, and progress is on track. Bringing everyone together in one location will enhance production and printing processes in the same area."

She continued, "The support provided will attract investors from other states as well. I am confident that together, we can advance the textile industry significantly."

Commenting on the PM Mitra Park initiative, Sanjay Jain, Managing Director of TT Limited, said: "This initiative will elevate Uttar Pradesh’s textile and apparel sector to unprecedented heights. Prior to this event, I engaged with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and expressed certain concerns. He assured us of full support. With comprehensive infrastructure and easy access to labor at the PM Mitra Park, Uttar Pradesh is set to make remarkable strides on a global scale in the textile sector."

Amar Tulsiyan from Niine Private Limited in Gorakhpur told IANS, "This scheme was essential for Uttar Pradesh. Having worked in the textile industry for 30 years, I have closely observed its evolution. I am convinced that the PM Mitra Park initiative will be crucial over the next two to three decades. I am thankful to PM Modi and CM Yogi for this initiative. I believe this scheme will yield substantial benefits for the state."

Rajeev Agarwal, Managing Director of Geosys India Infrastructures Limited, lauded the PM Mitra Park initiative, stating, "This is a significant endeavor by PM Modi and CM Yogi. Investors were invited and informed about government support. We fully support the government as their policies are greatly benefitting the industry. This is a tremendous leap forward, and it was also announced that 86 MOUs have been signed for PM Mitra Park. With such extensive investments flowing in, the state will undergo a transformation. The aim of PM Modi and CM Yogi is to establish Uttar Pradesh as a trillion-dollar economy, and the PM Mitra Park initiative will play a crucial role in realizing that vision.
