New Delhi, Oct 16 (NationPress) In light of the positive feedback received, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has announced an extension to October 31 as the final date for participation in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue (VBYLD) Quiz 2026 via the MY Bharat Portal, as stated by an official on Thursday.

According to the official statement, over 20 lakh youths have already engaged in the quiz.

The VBYLD Quiz serves as the initial phase of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue 2026. Conducted online through the MY Bharat Portal, this quiz allows young individuals to evaluate their knowledge of India and express their visions for a developed nation by 2047.

The quiz promotes enthusiastic participation from all states and union territories, aiming to evaluate participants’ understanding of the country while reflecting the common vision of a robust and developed India, as highlighted in the statement.

Every participant will receive a digital participation certificate. The top 10,000 winners will be awarded MY Bharat goodies and proceed to the next stage of VBYLD 2026. These selected youths will have the opportunity to present their ideas directly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the statement continued.

The launch of the MY Bharat Mobile Application signifies a pivotal advancement in youth empowerment. Through technology-driven engagement, the app facilitates one-click participation in the VBYLD Quiz 2026.

To ensure outreach to even the most remote areas, the MY Bharat Portal is integrated with Common Service Centres (CSCs). With the help of over five lakh Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), youths in rural areas can register and participate in the quiz from their nearest CSC, ensuring every young Indian, regardless of their location, can engage in this national initiative, according to the official statement.

The Ministry further stated that selected participants will represent their states and union territories at VBYLD 2026, which is set to take place in New Delhi in January 2026.

The competition will feature five engaging tracks. The Cultural and Innovation Track will honor India’s traditional art forms while promoting interest in science and technology through the Science Mela, inspiring youth to creatively merge heritage with innovation.

The Viksit Bharat Challenge Track will provide young participants with a platform to conceive and present actionable solutions to national challenges across various themes like governance, education, energy, climate, and digital inclusion, as elaborated in the official statement.

The Design for Bharat Track aims to cultivate design thinking among youth by involving them in a multi-tiered challenge to devise innovative, practical solutions for real-world development issues.

The Hack for a Social Cause Track will mobilize young innovators to create scalable, technology-driven solutions for pressing social problems, culminating in a national-level hackathon, according to the statement.

The Diaspora Youth Participation will unite 100 young individuals from the global Indian diaspora, including participants from the Know India Programme (KIP) and BIMSTEC member nations, promoting international youth exchange and deeper engagement with India’s development narrative, it concluded.
