Viksit Bharat: Young Minds Champion Start-ups, Local Enterprises, and a Fit India

New Delhi, Jan 10 (NationPress) As the three-day Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue begins at the city's Bharat Mandapam, numerous youth and emerging leaders have come forward to share their innovative ideas and aspirations for Viksit Bharat. They have passionately advocated for the establishment of more start-ups, local enterprises, and the promotion of a healthier, Fit India.

This significant event is designed to empower the youth to propose inventive solutions aimed at fostering a progressive and self-sufficient nation, in line with the vision of a "Viksit Bharat".

A thorough and merit-based selection process was implemented to choose 3,000 enthusiastic and driven participants from all over India for the 'Young Leaders Dialogue'. This comprised 1,500 delegates from the Viksit Bharat Track, 1,000 from the Traditional Track, and 500 Pathbreakers recognized for their pioneering contributions across 10 thematic fields.

Many of these young leaders shared their forward-thinking ideas with IANS.

Angel Gupta from Team Delhi, discussing the theme "Making India a Startup Nation," stated, “A Viksit Bharat is one where the youth possess the ability to establish their own start-ups. PM Modi envisions young Indians becoming job creators instead of merely job seekers. It has been an extraordinary opportunity to meet him. We need to come together to play a part in India's development.”

Parul from Punjab, concentrating on "Tech for Viksit Bharat," highlighted the necessity for substantial Indian firms to retain talent.

“Numerous students dream of working for global giants like Facebook and Amazon, yet India is lacking in homegrown companies of comparable size. To prevent brain drain, we must develop companies that provide opportunities for our youth and bolster the nation's progress,” she expressed.

Nandini Singh from Rajasthan, who addressed "Making India a Fit Nation," shared her proposals.

“I advocate for the inclusion of the 'Right to Play' in the Constitution, the allocation of a fixed percentage of CSR funds for sports, and the adoption of the PPP model for fitness initiatives. Personally, I aspire to motivate youth to actively participate in fitness through grassroots movements.”

The attendees will also visit 10 designated locations where discussions will take place on 10 identified themes. These sessions will feature mentors and experts from various domains, including S. Somnath, Pawan Goenka, Amitabh Kant, Sachin Bansal, Ronnie Screwvala, Anand Kumar, Ritesh Aggarwal, Bhaichung Bhutia, Chavvi Rajawat, Kalpana Saroj, among others.
