Kochi, April 18 (NationPress) Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko, who previously evaded capture during a police raid related to an alleged drug use accusation, found himself embroiled in another scandal when his fellow actor Vincy Aloshious accused him of inappropriate conduct.
Aloshious, who had earlier recounted being mistreated by a co-star on a film set, named Chacko as the individual involved.
Initially, she refrained from mentioning his name, stating that an actor had behaved poorly and had been observed spitting a white powder.
She filed a complaint with the Film Chamber, requesting that the actor's identity remain confidential.
However, Saji Nandiyattu, the general secretary of the Kerala Film Chamber, disclosed Chacko's name to the media and assured that appropriate actions would be taken against him.
Following this, Aloshious expressed to the press that the assurances made to her were not upheld, leading her to decide against cooperating with such individuals.
She stated that she has no intention of reviving the case.
On Friday morning, her father informed authorities that the family does not wish to pursue the matter further.
"The incident on the film set can be resolved within the film industry, and they prefer not to escalate the issue externally," her father remarked.
Interestingly, the families of both Chacko and Aloshious have been acquainted for some time.
In the meantime, Chacko took to social media to criticize the media's portrayal of him and shared a clip from a well-known film produced for the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) years ago, showing Mohanlal diving into a swimming pool.
He also shared an image from his forthcoming film 'Soothravakyam', where the alleged misconduct occurred.
