After the operation's success, Sahani stated, “India has consistently communicated a message of peace globally, yet we have zero tolerance for terrorism. Any challenge to our sovereignty has been met with a robust reply.”
He pledged his party's complete support for the Central government’s military actions following the April 22 Pahalgam attack.
“Our party stands resolute with the Central government in all military endeavors. Striking terrorist bases in Pakistan is not an act of aggression, but rather a necessary measure to dismantle the very foundations of terrorism,” he elaborated.
He praised the operation as “historic and courageous,” executed collaboratively by the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy, asserting: “Our valiant soldiers have neutralized nine terrorist bases, which were the epicenters of terrorism. We salute our forces and take pride in their bravery and strength.”
Following the operation in Bihar, jubilant celebrations broke out across various districts.
Residents in Motihari, Jamui, Begusarai, Saran, Vaishali, and Siwan took to the streets, lighting firecrackers, applying gulal, and chanting slogans like “Bharat Mata ki Jai” in a vibrant show of patriotism.
Local sentiments were unified: “Whenever Pakistan instigates India, it will be met with unwavering strength. India will not hesitate to respond to those who jeopardize its sovereignty.”
The Indian Air Force executed air raids on nine terror group locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir between 1:05 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The spokesperson for the Indian Army highlighted the precision of the strikes, saying, “Our operations have been focused and accurate, targeting only those terrorist camps from which assaults against India have been planned and executed.”
Furthermore, the Army confirmed that the operation was intended to be non-escalatory, strictly aimed at eradicating terror infrastructure while safeguarding civilian, military, and economic structures in Pakistan.
