Durgapur, Feb 8 (NationPress) Former AAP leader and poet Kumar Vishwas, commenting on the results of the Delhi Assembly elections, stated that this marks the initial phase of AAP's decline.
Speaking to the press, Kumar Vishwas expressed optimism that the BJP would tackle the persistent issues plaguing the capital.
"I am confident that the BJP will address the local challenges in Delhi. I anticipate that the residents will finally receive the relief they have been longing for," he stated.
Looking back at the political scenario, he mentioned the surge of political change that occurred in India 15 years ago, intended to introduce alternative governance but ultimately fell short.
"Fifteen years prior, a movement for political rejuvenation surged across India, igniting hopes in millions but ultimately extinguished those dreams," he remarked, hinting that corrupt political entities have betrayed public trust.
Vishwas also acknowledged the contributions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, commending their grassroots efforts.
"Both the Prime Minister and the Home Minister have been pivotal in addressing situations in Delhi at the local level," he remarked.
Continuing his critique of the political past, Vishwas equated certain political actions to those of figures from mythology.
"The actions of disgraceful individuals (Kejriwal) resemble those of Duryodhana. Their deeds have led our nation to decline," he stated.
"This is merely the start of their downfall -- nature will seek retribution for the dreams they have shattered," he added.
Vishwas also reached out to former AAP members still within the party, urging them to reconsider their decisions. "To those remaining within the party out of greed or confusion, I implore you to reflect on your lives and choose a better path," he asserted.
Indirectly targeting former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Vishwas accused him of betraying AAP supporters, including Rajya SabhaSwati Maliwal.
"Some political parties operate with integrity and communicate honestly. They do not mislead the public with falsehoods," he remarked.
Vishwas further expressed compassion for those who placed their trust in Kejriwal and the AAP, only to witness that trust crumble.
"My heart goes out to those who squandered their lives supporting this corrupt individual, including the young woman (Swati Maliwal) who dedicated herself to the party," he concluded.
